On behalf of  St Anne’s Justice and Peace Group, who for the last 4 years have supported a feeding program for the youngest children in the Abba Ghebre Michael School.
The Abba Ghebre Michael School is in South Mekelle Tigray.
It is situated in one of Ethiopia's poorest areas and many students cannot afford to pay school fees.
The age of the students range from 4 to 15 years of age.

In August 2005  5 members went out to visit the school at their own expense.  When they returned the group decided to try and help build a new nursery for the children.  To help further this, we have decided to form a new group, independent of the parish of St Anne’s.  It will  mean that we may be able to seek  funding from other charitable trusts to help meet the cost.
